Buchanan Turf is the Biggest Turf Farm in the Hunter region and the Home of Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo, now an International turf variety. Starting out in 1974, the original farm was located at Buchanan via East Maitland, but since 1985 we have been at Bolwarra. Set on the rich flood plain of the Hunter River this has proven to be the perfect location for grass to grow…

Our grass is mechanically harvested into Turf Tiles 1200x600 = 0.75m2. It is palletised so that handling can be made easier on sites with difficult access. Our delivery trucks are fitted with forklifts to allow turf to be delivered as close as possible to the site.
