Buchanan Turf Farm has been supplying premium turf to the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Maitland and the Central Coast for over 40 years. We are second generation turf farmers, who have done all our research in the field.


What we don’t know about turf isn’t worth knowing!


Our farm is situated on the rich flood plains of the Hunter River and we have over 100 acres of premium quality turf. Apart from our Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo we also cultivate Sir Grange, TifTuf Bermuda and Eureka Kikuyu. All our turf is irrigated, fertilised and manicured to perfection throughout the year, ready to go to a new home.


In 2013 we forged a green partnership with Lee Rowan’s Gardenworld, (the Hunter’s leading Nursery & Landscape Centre), another second generation family business. This has enabled us to offer a reliable, efficient preparation and laying service, as well as more customer service points for advice on how to keep your lawn healthy and green.


A FULL RANGE OF LAWN CARE PRODUCTS, SERVICES & LAWN EXPERTISE


You can now either pick up your turf from a choice of locations, or have it delivered right to your door. You can also take advantage of the expertise of the team at Lee Rowan’s and relax while your site is prepared and your turf is professionally installed, or simply get all the tips on how to prepare and lay your turf to get the best results for DIY.
